PowerPoint has played a part in my professional life since the 1990’s, both as a presenter and as an audience member, and across a variety of subject areas.
I began my first career as a medical student in the 1990’s before working as a Junior Doctor, Consultant Medical Microbiologist and Clinical Director in the NHS until 2016. After this, I studied Architectural Technology for two years and then Architecture for one year. This was followed by a year working in architectural practice before being furloughed during the COVID pandemic and undertaking an MSc in Medical Visualisation and Human Anatomy.
Although PowerPoint presentations always played a part in what I was doing and I always enjoyed designing and spending time working on my own presentations, it wasn’t until more recently that I considered designing PowerPoint presentations as a career in its own right.
